Chi Eta Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. hosts scholarship and awards banquet
The Chi Eta Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. will host its annual Scholarship and Awards Banquet on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 6:00 p.m. at the University of Central Arkansas in Brewer-Hegemen Conference Center. Doors will open at 5:00 p.m. The recipients of the Phillis Nichols-Anderson Faith-Based Book Scholarship and the Commitment Opportunity Excellence Award will be honored. Over $2500 in scholarships and awards will be given to graduating high school seniors who have met eligibility criteria and community leaders will be honored with one organization receiving $1000. Tickets for this event may be purchased March 1-31, 2008 by going to aka-chietaomega.org.
