First of all, I did not say a thing about WIC vouchers....second of all, I have no problem with lending a helping hand...how did u miss that?  I have a problem with people who get on welfare and stay there...I have a right to say that...I work every day and they (govt) take a huge bite out of my check every time I get paid...so I have a right ...

DeNarky, you are one hard headed person who is very good at twisting other people's words and meanings....I do pump my kids up at school, but I also hear them worrying about the crap they live in...............I tell them as a child they cannot control the adults around them....but when they become adults they can make better choices....Kids do not

DeNarky, I am not just whining about tax dollars being wasted.  I work with children everyday and I do everything in my power to instill in them that as children their choices are limited.  But, that as adults, they can change their lives....I do not care if you understand what I SEE every day....I see neglected, attention starved ...

Drug tests would force some people off welfare.  But if the economy continues in this downward spiral, many working people may end up receiving help...but ONLY AFTER THEY LOSE THEIR HOMES, CARS, and such....a working person does not qualify for help...no matter what happens....they take from the working to take care of those who are to busy ...

another thing....wonder how much the state of Arkansas could have saved with these salary increases many state employees just got approved...maybe then we wouldn't need another tax to pay for a trauma center....about to need a trauma center for people out here busting their tails to make a living and coming up short.....

Another thing, as for our elderly, I have NO problem taking care of our elderly...and we DO NOT....a young person can get free rent, foodstamps, healthcare, and who knows what else, but if an elderly person owns a home, even if it is dilapidated, they do not qualify for very much help at all....AT ALL..........our elderly cannot change being ...
