And Lorelei, the problem is that the kid will get another pit if he wants one, even if it is to starve it.....the one that you call the ''authorities'' on will be taken to LRAS where it will be euthanized....they don't adopt out pits or even allow rescues to ''pull'' them from there.

No....Pit Bulls should not be banned or picked on specifically....I currently have a Pit Bull Momma that had some beautiful babies on Mothers Day...she has not shown any aggression while in our foster care....we foster all kinds of breeds for local rescue groups....you would think that if the Pit was an agressive breed ''by itself'' then this ...
